How it works
1. Post what you want to build. Title, a one-line pitch, the full plan, and — most importantly — what you're short of. A co-founder. People to execute. Someone with a unit. Capital. Distribution.
2. Say what you bring. This is the part that matters here. Anyone can have an idea. Saying "I have a knitting unit sitting at half capacity" or "I've run exports for eight years" is what makes people take it seriously.
3. People ask to join. They say which role they're after and why they're the right person. Those requests come only to you.
4. You decide who gets the details. Everyone can read the pitch. The full plan, your funding ask and your WhatsApp number go only to people you accept. Pass on the rest and they never see any of it.
Why the details stay private
The most common reason people don't post an idea is the fear that someone will take it. So the board is built the other way round: the public half is enough to decide whether you're interested, and nothing more. You open the door yourself, one person at a time.
Who can join
Anyone building, or wanting to build, something in Ludhiana. You sign in with your WhatsApp number — no password. Your number is never shown publicly, and only becomes visible to someone after you accept their request.
Every idea is read by an admin before it goes on the board. That's to keep out spam and sales pitches, not to judge the idea.

This site started as a timeline of businesses founded in Ludhiana going back to the 1800s. That's still here, at the timeline — a reminder that nothing being posted today is the first time someone in this city decided to build something.
